Frequently Asked Questions
How do I contact an artist about making an appointment?
The best way to speak with an artist about your future tattoos will always be to contact that artist directly via the social link in their artist page. If you have a quick question for someone or need to contact us for something simple such as rescheduling an appointment, check our Locations page for contact info.
Do you have walk-in time today?
This is a very difficult question for an artist to answer based on a few factors. It is very difficult for us to predict how the day will go, we can only accurately tell you if we have a time as of right now. Artists may have sudden timeslots open due to a cancellation, or have an open day fill up with a large piece. The only way to accurately find out if an artist can handle a walk-in for you, or reserve you a time, is to stop into a shop and speak with someone. Edit: Due to Covid 19 concerns, the lobbies of our shops are currently closed. Please contact your artist directly in order to book an appointment.
Do you offer piercing?
Piercing is available at both of our locations during regular business hours 5 days a week! Stop in or send us a message to get set up with one of our piercing professionals.
What are your hours?
Both of our locations are open 10 AM until 7PM Tuesday through Saturday.
Do you require a deposit to make an appointment?
Deposit policies are set individually by the artist. Most artists do require some form of deposit to make an appointment. Speak with your artist in person when setting up an appointment for more details on individual policy such as deposit amount and refund policies. For your convenience, deposits are only taken in cash.
Do I need to make an appointment to have a consult with an artist?
Typically, no. Just contact your artist and they will do their best to consult with you about your next tattoo. If your idea requires some atypical level of discussion or planning, you may want to contact an artist to set up a general time or day to speak with them.
Can I see my artwork before my tattoo appointment?
If you would like to see your artwork on a date prior to your tattoo appointment, please give your artist as much notice as possible that you would like to do so and set up a time with them to come in and view it. Due to the volume of art we produce, our artists may not always have your design completed until the day before your appointment, so give us some warning you're coming and we'll do our best to accommodate you. As a deterrent to art theft, we do not typically send our artwork out digitally.
How do I take care of my new tattoo?
You can download a printable version of our aftercare instructions here. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact your artist and they would be glad to help make sure your new tattoo is cared for properly.
How much do tattoos cost?
There's no good way to answer this question without talking to an artist in person. There are many variables including size, complexity, and placement that go into pricing a tattoo. Stop into a shop for an estimate and an artist will be happy to find you a tattoo solution that fits your budget.
Do you do cover ups? Can you cover this tattoo?
All of our artists are fully capable and confident of handling cover up tattoos. Because of the unique nature of each cover up, there is no one size fits all answer to your particular situation. Clients need to be flexible and realistic in design choices and have trust in their artist in order to get a successful, lasting cover up. Pictures sent online, or conversations over the phone are not an acceptable substitute to seeing a tattoo in person and coming up with a realistic game plan face-to-face. Stop in and we'll be happy to talk with you about it.
